Michelle worked as a physiotherapist with older adults and adults with disabilities for over 8 years. She completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy at the University of South and undertook further study in Pilates for Clients with Neurological Conditions to further expand her knowledge.

Michelle loves her work as a physiotherapist and likes to explore many facets of the field. She has general experience in assessing, managing and providing interventions for older adults both in the community and in residential aged care settings, as well as adults on Work Cover claims. She is also very interested in Parkinson’s, traumatic brain injuries, stroke and other neurological conditions and is currently completing her APPI Pilates Instructor certification course to see how clinical pilates can assist with rehabilitation, post-traumatic and non-traumatic incidents.

When she’s not looking at musculoskeletal conditions and joint replacements you will likely find Michelle relaxing at the beach or trying out Adelaide’s newest culinary delights.

Michele is a determined and family-focused person. She completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy program with University of South Australia in 2012 and has spent the last 11 years as a physiotherapist working with older adults and adults with disabilities.

As such, Michele has a strong passion in many areas that assist older people or those with disabilities lead a more comfortable lifestyle. This includes falls prevention, chest physio, dual tasking and functional exercises targeting people with early Dementia. She also uses a combination of early intervention exercises with rehabilitation for restoring or maintaining functional abilities for those who have neurological condition or pre or post operation.

Michele believes that “If there is a will, there is a way”! Her hobbies include watching the latest hit series on Netflix and spending time with her family.

Carla Zaikos

Carla completed her study at The University of South Australia and hold a Bachelor in Physiotherapy with Honours in Research. She has interests in paediatrics and neurological based conditions in adults.

She enjoys taking a holistic and functional approach to care and advocate for active interventions. She employs a client centred approach and work with her clients to form collaborative and meaningful goals with creative ways to achieve them.

Jenna Dobberthien

Jenna is a born and raised Canadian who recently relocated to Adelaide. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and her Master of Science in Physical Therapy in Canada. She worked as a registered physiotherapist in Canada for four years before moving to Australia. She is currently a full-time student completing her Doctor of Medicine course at Flinders University.

Jenna has worked in a wide range of physiotherapy settings, including pediatrics, pelvic health, sports injuries, acute care, and generalized private practice.

In her off time, you’ll be able to find her exploring around her new home of Australia or off travelling to a new country. She enjoys soaking in the sun at the beach, finding new restaurants and cafes, golfing, weightlifting and spending time with friends.

Her favourite part of being a physiotherapist is helping people reach goals that are important to them!

Meet Zoe, our dedicated physiotherapist with over a decade of experience supporting adults and children with disabilities. Zoe earned her Bachelor of Physiotherapy from the University of Brighton in the UK and has honed her skills in diverse healthcare settings across the UK, New Zealand, and Australia.

Passionate about her profession, Zoe finds fulfillment in exploring various aspects of physiotherapy. Her expertise spans specialized assessments, interventions for pediatric and adult clients in community settings, and supporting NDIS participants, TAC clients, and Medicare claims. Zoe’s interests extend to hydrotherapy, Cerebral Palsy, Autism Spectrum Disorder, equipment assessment, prescription, and brain injury rehabilitation.

Beyond her professional pursuits, Zoe cherishes time with her spirited one-year-old, indulging in Adelaide’s vibrant culinary scene, unwinding at the beach, and exploring new destinations. Join Zoe on her journey to holistic healthcare and vibrant living.
